Razvan left Pitesti asround 1 p.m. and he picked us up. On the way to Oha Beach we discussed with Nico the option that she could join us further way in Mongol Rally. We said that we like her company a lot and more than that Yurty thinks the same and so we can have her next up to the moment where she misses the visa. Not sure if I mentioned that Nico can not normally take the back seat in the car. She managed in the end to do it but we are not sure what was the driver – the wish to take part in Mongol Rally, the chemistry between her and Yurty or our company. What is sure is that she managed to overpass this and she drove with no problems in a quite small place.
While talking with other teams we understood that the visa on arrival for Turkmenistan was not enough and that we needed an entrance visa that we could get from Romania, Istanbul or Georgia. Nico took care of all formalities in a very short time and we managed to arrange it in Romania. In the same time she took care to get her visa for Azerbaijan and planning to get a plane back from Baku. Unfortunately she did not manage and so she is going to join us up to Tbilisi and then she will be back with a plane.
Around 4 p.m. Ravan was in Bucharest and we needed an extra hour to arrange the packing so around 5.30 p.m. we left to seaside and we parked next to other Mongol Rally cars on Oha Beach.
There we had a nice surprise to meet dear friends who came to support us. Pramongols, Fire Fairies and Daciotii, the other Romanian Mongol Rally teams and together with the two Dragos from Mongoliotii were there as well.
We planned to go to sleep around 2 or 3 a.m. so that the next day to be with Yurty at 8 a.m. and head to South coast of Black Sea. The plans did not work because around 5.30 a.m. we were still partying and we got to go to sleep around 6.30 a.m.
