We woke up around 10 a.m. and we went for breakfast at a bakery where we did not manage to order what we wanted so we ended up eating random things that we got and we thought that in this way we will be prepared better for the “STAN” ending states that we are going to cross.
We experienced the ride with the Metro in Munich to Marien Platz where we did some shopping. I bought a bag, Razvan some sport shoes and Nico kept looking for what she wanted with Bertrand Russell.
We left Munich around 2 p.m. with the thought that we head to Bruges where we already booked a very nice hotel. On the way Marcel got us in a detour so we decided to go straight to ferry. On the way we had a really long conversation on the phone for booking the tickets (110 euro).
Because Nico had no ideas for new jokes in the car and I was extremely sleepy we decided to play “Fazan” (a kind of spoken scrabble). On the 4th round Razvan was close to looking and he decided to continue with “Napasta” when we started laughing so much that we could not stop.
Finally we stopped at Calais, France. At 1 a.m. we were looking for a hotel. The only one that had roomed available was Ibis and the price was 110 euro per night and the quality of the rooms was ridiculous taking into consideration the price. The room had 5 sq. m. with the bathroom enclosed. We went to reception to eat something and eat but we were disappointed not to find alcohol and so we decided to make a small visit into the city. We found out in a gas station that the legislation prohibits selling alcohol after 6 p.m. so we decided to go back to hotel. We ate in the room and just to realize how small it was we could not find a place for the tray so we squeezed it outside. In the morning it was still there and we still think that they did not move it yet.
